Our FIRST GRANDCHILD Is TWO

I call him Missionary Isaiah.  He lives in St. Petersburg, Russia, serving on the mission field with his parents, Thomas and Cristy Slawson.  After being in language school there since July 18, they had to depart the country and re-enter.  He was born with spina bifida and had surgery shortly after being born.  He is growing since nicely.  He crawls with his arms like a soldier.  He understands instructions and questions in both English and Russian and smiles a lot.  The Lord has brought him a long way in a short time.  You can read his life story at siberiangrits.com.  Click on "Missionary News" on the menu.

We met then in Berlin in January and enjoyed a week of good fellowship and family time.
